David Verolin – Food and Beverage Manager

David, a native of Windsor and a graduate of the University of Windsor, has over twenty years experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
He began his career at Essex Golf and Country Club. Employed here for twelve years, he became proficient in all aspects of service in a private Club. In a management position at Chatham Street Grill, for the next five years, he further developed his skills in a casual fine dining setting. For the past six years David has been employed by Kelsey’s Restaurants Inc. With a strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail, David was chosen from many qualified applicants to launch Kelsey's newest location in Tecumseh.
David looks forward to bringing his experience to the Windsor Club to further enhance member service.

David Grascoeur, a Brittany (France) native, trained in some of the best hotels and restaurants, George Blanc three star Michelin guide and Le Domaine d’auriac in France. David moved to Canada about ten years ago to work at the prestigious Inn at Manitou in the Muskoka region. He then worked in Toronto’s fine dining scene for a few years, including Sous Chef at Starfish oyster bed and grill and then went on to California Dream in Montreal.
Now in Windsor, he has worked as executive chef at Le Steak at Fillmore East, a fine dining French restaurant with wonderful reviews. He also worked at Caesars Windsor and the Windsor yacht Club.
David is excited and honored to be a part of the "Windsor Club" family.
Bledar Garunja - Sous Chef

In view of David's appointment we now ask you to welcome to the Windsor Club culinary team our new Sous Chef, Bledar Garunja, a seasoned professional who is bringing to the club over 10 years of experience.
Bledar was born in Albania and, following military training in the Italian air force, moved to North America where he had the opportunity to train under Chef Jimmy Schmidt, owner of the Rattlesnake restaurants in Denver and Detroit and Chef James Beard, winner of the "Best Chef Midwest" award.
Upon arriving in Windsor, Bledar pursued his passion for cooking at a number of fine restaurants including serving at the Hilton Hotel and as Sous Chef at Per Bacco, Chef at Spago, La Cucina and Cellar.
Bledar's culinary skills and experience and his commitment to his professional development and the Windsor community will serve to further enhance both the quality of service and the reputation enjoyed by our club.
Married to Aida with two children Gracie and Christian, Bledar says he is excited to be joining the Windsor Club team and looks forward to meeting you. Please introduce yourself when next in the Club.
